It contains bass clef versions of Vincent Cichowicz’s VC 1 Long Tone Studies along with the first 40 of his Flow Studies adapted and arranged for trombone, euphonium and tuba by Los Angeles studio trombonist and arranger, Nick Lane. The new book is 90 pages long, so we added coil binding to make it easier to place on a music stand. With the assistance of Chicago Symphony Principal Trombone, Jay Friedman, New York Philharmonic Principal Trombone Joseph Alessi, Chicago Symphony Second Trombone Michael Mulcahy, International Euphonium soloist, Steven Mead and Los Angeles Free Lance Studio Trombonist, Nick Lane and our master editor and mentor Rob Roy McGregor, we feel we have stayed true to the spirit of what my father used with all of his students that helped them play in a much more relaxed and efficient manner. Long Tone and Flow Studies I am very pleased to announce the release of our fourth book, Vincent Cichowicz’ Long Tone and Flow Studies for Trombone, Euphonium and Tuba.
